What is a Microneedling?
Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure for your skin. This treatment uses thin needles to make tiny holes (not to exceed 1.5mm) in the epidermis, or top layer, of your skin. The damage helps stimulate your skin’s natural healing process, so it produces more collagen and elastin. These proteins keep your skin firm and smooth.
Most people get microneedling on their face, but you can also get it on your legs, back, neck or other areas.
Sessions of three or more are recommended in order to achieve optimal results.

Time: 60 minutes+ depending on treatment area.
How Often?: The number of sessions depends on what skin issue you are treating. For instance, to alleviate early signs of aging, 3+ treatments are normally required to achieve the desired results. While for acne scars, 4 to 6+ treatments are normally required. Skin reaction, age, and goals will all be a consideration when determining the amount of recommended treatments.

Is It Painful? The skin is numbed prior to treatment but you may feel a sensation of pressure during the session. We work to make all advanced treatments as comfortable as possible while still providing the desired results.
Is There Downtime? There will be redness for up to 7 days following treatment with most people experiencing redness for up to 2 days. Pairing the appropriate homecare and following post-care instructions will improve your results and limit your downtime.
